All three have been tested and are in good working order. The two switch operated engines use one AA battery and the Trackmaster uses two AAA Batteries, all included. The Trackmaster Thomas has a button on top, when pressed he speaks and starts or stops moving. The other two are turned off and on with the little lever on top.
